Moving

This will be our first night in the old farm house..not quite everything is moved but we have made alot of progress...which is a little surprising since we dont have any help..we have conquered MUCH...although we both are a little sore and i have a splitting headache that will not cease..I've already wiped out the medicinal goods avaliable in the med cabinet and no luck yet..i think it must be the sheet rock dust..Its also very open in here-the window treaments arent up yet and floors are all hardwood The kids must like the sound of their echoed screams in the house and appear to be having contests...also not good for my headache..wanna babysit? Your house.... yes? ;)

also i just moved to blogger from spaces and have yet to find anyone here besides my fellow msn space friends that come here to check up on me when they see i havent updated spaces.Ive had alot of trouble with that site...maybe i should just put up with it as it sure is awful lonely over here..

I like the name lonesome but i dont wanna BE lonesome..thinking of moving back to spaces.

Water...Where???? :0

CRAP! Were still waiting on either plumber number 1 or number 2 to get the water working over at the new old house..were already about moved in just waitin on water so we can stay for more than a few hours ata time...then get the necessities(sp) moved in.
The hardwood floor in the kitchen is stained -walls are sheet rocked and painted..trim gets coat of paint this week and school starts for Hailey the 15th..God i hope all works out well were we can be in there by then!

Wish it would rain! Its turnin into a dust bowl round here and i dont care much for a bowl of that thank you very much..ive been eatin plenty of it lately as it is.

prayin for rain..some plain ole well water would also be nice.

What a day~..the dry wall in the studio and living room are juuuust about ready for paint..I love sherwin williams' site..if you ever need to pick out a color scheme use their color visualizer to paint a virtual room ...its an awesome tool!

The kitchen floor is getting stained tomorrow providing there is enough time..School enrollment is tomorrow for me with Hailey and DH has a siding sale to close on tomorrow out of town so i dunno..

I did manage to get the pasture looked over fairly well today it all looks good- free of horse eating debris and phantom monsters..they can thank me for that later..

I got a nice suprise today from mom and mike with a brand new black stove as a house warming gift..i couldnt be more happy with it..cant wait to use it..now if i could just work on getting that little black side by side fridge to match id have it made..lol..jk, it might be a little while for that one as most of my cash is going for GAS and moving expenses lately..

the picture is of my blind cat bally..she has adapted super sensory hearing and can catch flies in mid air with her paws....she also like to scratch on the damn door to go out...but she's still perdy..she's my lap cat..hope she adjusts ok to the new house..poor kitty.

Commissions

I finally got all of the commissions finished that were due..they turned out very nice..glad the buyers also liked em...there sure are some beautiful horses in the world of all breeds!!..and to think I used to be breed biased.....I admit..Im a quarter horse junkie and to think out of all the paintings i sold only one has been a quarter horse and that one wasnt even an order from the states it was shipped to manitoba...lol..who knew? :) Hmmmm...i think ive been enlightened..

I was driving home from the new house and had to flip a u turn to get some pics of this hereford bull.Ive been needing a good subject for my hereford sign..and he certianly cuts the cake!


As for working on the old farmhouse Im NOT.. with Mongo the damn heat index it been up to 113 here and the kids rackup enough health care bills without all the added heat exposure and dangerous spots in and around the house that they could get caught up in..so were hangin close to the house for now and prayin for rain..

Being homebound because of the temps isnt too much of a burden as most of my commissioned work has come due this week..so ive had plenty of time to work on them..

Its supposed to be cooler Sat so ill get my fill of scrapin sandin and paintin then..

Theres not even dial up over there as i recently found out so looks like im going wireless to keep my e-commerce business going and stay connected with the world..hope its reliable and fast.
