Commissions

I finally got all of the commissions finished that were due..they turned out very nice..glad the buyers also liked em...there sure are some beautiful horses in the world of all breeds!!..and to think I used to be breed biased.....I admit..Im a quarter horse junkie and to think out of all the paintings i sold only one has been a quarter horse and that one wasnt even an order from the states it was shipped to manitoba...lol..who knew? :) Hmmmm...i think ive been enlightened..

I was driving home from the new house and had to flip a u turn to get some pics of this hereford bull.Ive been needing a good subject for my hereford sign..and he certianly cuts the cake!


As for working on the old farmhouse Im NOT.. with Mongo the damn heat index it been up to 113 here and the kids rackup enough health care bills without all the added heat exposure and dangerous spots in and around the house that they could get caught up in..so were hangin close to the house for now and prayin for rain..

Being homebound because of the temps isnt too much of a burden as most of my commissioned work has come due this week..so ive had plenty of time to work on them..

Its supposed to be cooler Sat so ill get my fill of scrapin sandin and paintin then..

Theres not even dial up over there as i recently found out so looks like im going wireless to keep my e-commerce business going and stay connected with the world..hope its reliable and fast.

Howdy Dew

What should I do about my door murals on the outbuildings? Do i just leave em? Sure got an awful lot of love put into those. Theres no replacement doors just layin around here either....maybe i just let em go. :(






The neighbors horse was down here on the loose this morning and their boy came over with his lead line and towed him home behind the truck..I mentioned that he could use the round pen if he liked..its only around for a limited time though since were moving soon..he said he didnt care much for ridin cause it made him sore..so that was that..lol..
I was hopin to get someone in my round pen kickin up all them weeds a growin in there..Weeds in MY round pen is SACRILEGE I tell ya!!! Turn away! Dont Look! Seems like all I been doin lately is paintin orders or packin..often times i work with the colt when i can break loose from here. He is 2 skinny hairs away from being untouchable..and thats not a good state of mind to be during a moving party.

I think ima gonna miss it here...you spose theres dew over at the new place too??. ;)

Peaches & Flies

A few added perks to the old homestead. Three very mature peach trees. One apple, 2 pear & a few massive grape vines.
Im looking foward to harvesting all the goodies!

The baby is teething and has a fever. Hailey is starting to get her swimming lesson regime straightened out and I need to get out there and work a of couple horses. Three need to be trailer friendly within a couple of weeks for the move..But its so hot and not even a breath of air from all the humidity..Im dreading it.

Savin' their family farm whilst building my horse ranch a trainin' facility.

Well I always wanted my own place..and well ..THATS IT. Ten acres of parcel and a 2 story traditional farm house built in 1910..complete with asbestos tiled floors and lead paint..
Ok im gonna go finish packing and see if i can round up the floor sander and paint scraper...HEY who let the racoon in the house!
